About Happ Movers - Our Family Moving Yours - Glenview Moving Company

Our Family Moving Yours

This means that from the first call you make to us, you will be speaking to the person who can answer your questions – no call centers, no automated menus – just knowledgeable professionals ready to help you plan your move.

Everett Dean: Everett grew up on a farm in Central Illinois and, after serving in World  War II, moved to Glenview to work in the printing business. Looking for a change, and  hoping to take advantage of his strong, hard-working sons, he purchased Happ Movers from the Happ family in 1973. He remained a big part of the business until his passing in late 2022. His values and his legacy will remain at Happ always.

Tony Dean: Everett’s oldest son, Tony was the first in the Dean family to work at Happ. He worked as a mover before his father took over the business, and they proceeded to run the company together. Tony and his wife, Carol modeled the integrity that helped to cement the company’s reputation as an ethical family business. He remained the president of the company until he passed away in 2006.

Dave Dean: Everett’s youngest son began working as a mover 1977, leading crews and training movers that would carry on the family values. Now, Dave is the company President, dispatcher, and fleet manager. He is one of the friendly voices you will hear when you call our office.

Greg Ostrolencki: Everett’s oldest grandson, Greg began working as a mover in 1996 while studying business. After Tony’s passing, his role evolved to include customer service, office management, and estimating. The example set by the prior generations molded an expertise that has pushed the company to grow and prosper steadily. With Dave, he shares the day to day operational responsibilities.

Chris Ostrolencki: Everett’s second grandson, Chris joined Happ Movers in 1999. Today, he supports the company in almost every capacity, working as a crew leader, trainer, estimator, office administrator and advisor for daily operations. His contributions have been valuable to building long term relationships with our customers.

The success that Happ Movers enjoys is due in part to the hard work and vision of these family members. However, no progress would have been possible without such a skilled and esteemed group of workers. Our movers continue to satisfy customers with experienced and friendly service, tackling jobs of all sizes. They deserve all of the praises they receive each day.
